Onion juice has numerous benefits for hair and scalp health!
 
Did you know your hair is primarily made of a protein called alpha-keratin. Sulfur makes up about 85% of its structure, forming crucial disulfide bonds, so it strengthens the roots and reduces breakage, and improves elasticity, leading to thicker hair. It has even been known to stimulate dormant follicles, promoting hair regrowth, even in people with alopecia! It is antimicrobial and antifungal, so it can reduce dandruff and itchy scalp. It is reported that the antioxidant quercetin combats oxidative stress, which may prevent premature graying.
